Summary
Serves as the primary liaison between BeneFx and the client. Manages the client and participant relationship for assigned number of groups. Responsible for complete client satisfaction for services delivered. Responsible for client service expansion and new account development. This is self-starter position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides a high level of customer service to assigned clients and all participants by creating a positive relationship with both parties.
  • Creates new client and existing client opportunities.
  • Fields questions and requests from clients and handles them in a timely manner.
  • Acquires necessary technical IRS Code and employee benefit knowledge regarding Flexible Spending Account and Cafeteria Plans to address client/participant questions and inquiries.
  • Accountable for daily tasks such as claims adjudication, audit procedures and account reconciliation on both an individual and corporate level.
  • Prepares and executes seasonal activities such as re-enrollment and non-discrimination testing.
  • Manages daily participant account data including exception reports, status changes, claims outside of enrollment and other client/participant reporting.
  • Researches technical and legal questions posed by clients using internal resources and outside legal resources retained by the firm.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully and grow into managing significant client relationships, an individual must possess the following traits and characteristics: detail orientation, strong organizational and prioritizing skills, ability to be flexible and multi-task, high level of personal worth and internal motivation and above average analytical and problem solving skills. This skill set must be inherent in an individual that understands the value of providing a high level of customer service.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with 1-5 years of work experience and Life & Health License required. Previous experience in benefits management, customer service or accounting related field would be a plus but is not required. Bi-Lingual English-Spanish is strongly preferred. The appropriate individual will need to possess the "fit" for the position and experience will determine level of responsibilities and duties assigned.
